Tucked away just off Second Avenue, the restaurant’s transition from its former identity as Sam Sunny brings a sleeker, stylish sit-down dining experience. The change introduced a completely new menu of elevated plates, including beef noodle soup, a star Tomahawk Kalbi, and hanger steak galbi skewers finished with green onions and grated parmesan. While some loyalists miss the spontaneous comfort-food ease and previous menu format of the old neighborhood spot, the reboot offers a more polished setting for modern Korean cuisine.
