Description

Situated north of Kaneʻīlio Point on the leeward coast of Oʻahu, this state-managed facility serves as a functional hub for ocean recreation and boating. Beyond the technical infrastructure—which includes seven launch ramps, a fish hoist, and vessel washdown bays—the harbor offers a quiet vantage point for watching maritime traffic against a backdrop of coastline scenery. It functions as a low-key, non-touristy setting that prioritizes maritime utility. While the pier areas are secured with locking gates, visitors may encounter nearby encampments on the harbor's perimeter. The site includes clean washroom facilities and convenient, ample parking, with a local café located just off the exit road.
