🍻 Beyond The Pint

Avoca opened on the Upper East Side in late 2021 and has already built a base of regulars. Craft beer and Irish hospitality set the tone at the long bar, but the kitchen takes a few unexpected turns, with a grilled tuna Caesar salad next to fresh mac and cheese, and espresso martinis sharing space with the draft list.

Out back, a cozy patio stretches the evening outdoors, and there is even a menu for dogs. The space handles large groups and birthday parties with a bottomless dinner option, and the well decorated room stays reasonably priced. Happy hour and brunch both feature on the calendar.

Doors open at 3 PM Monday through Friday and at 11 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Closing runs to 1 AM early in the week, 2 AM on Thursday, and 3 AM on Friday and Saturday nights, which leaves plenty of room for a second round.
