Trout-Roe Latkes and Martinis in Prospect Heights
Settle into a mural-lined Prospect Heights bistro for latkes crowned with trout roe, oysters, and a Gertrude's martini.
🥔 Latkes, Oysters, and Cocktails
Chef Eli Sussman built the menu around classic New York eateries and European bistros, then filled it with Jewish comfort food that rewards a long sit. Latkes arrive crowned with trout roe, babka turns into French toast at weekend brunch, and platters of smoked fish and oysters anchor the raw side of the kitchen. Brisket corned beef and burgers round out dinner. The room shifts with your seat. A hand-painted floral mural wraps the banquette for a group dinner party, while the bar stays easy for a solo drink and a bite. Dinner runs 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM seven days a week, and brunch lands Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Sunday through Thursday, early evening brings a Gertrude's martini, oysters by the half dozen, and a house brew at the bar.
