🍷 Two Sides of Main Street

Jakes and Coopers puts a wine bar and wine shop at 4365 Main Street, overlooking the Manayunk thoroughfare. Bruce Cooper opened the venue in 1987, and the setup divides an upscale dining room from a casual craft beer spot. Open windows keep the connection to the street part of the experience. There is also a full bar.

The drinks range from wines on tap to bottles from around the world, with a selection spanning different price points. The kitchen serves New American plates, including hanger steak, alongside pizza and appetizers. For a broader tasting, the wine flights cost 20 dollars per flight. Wine classes are also available at 20 dollars per person.

Doors open Monday through Thursday from 4 PM to 9 PM, Friday from 4 PM to 10 PM, Saturday from 1 PM to 10 PM, and Sunday from noon to 8 PM.
