🍝 Beyond the usual bistro menu

Arancini and lobster spaghetti share a menu with burgers and chicken and waffles at Corner Lounge Bistro. Chef Patrick Hien brings Italian and West African flavors to this intimate East Harlem restaurant at 32 East 130th Street. You can start with an Italian appetizer or choose an American comfort plate without switching restaurants.

Plant based diners have a reason to speak with the kitchen. Hien offers vegan adaptations on request, with lentil soup, quinoa salad, and brussels sprouts among the dishes he can adjust. This is not an exclusively vegan restaurant. Appetizers run from 9 to 17 dollars, while main courses range from 17 to 50 dollars. Sandwiches range from 15 to 21 dollars. Desserts cost 13 to 15 dollars.

Live music accompanies the cooking in a cozy, compact room. The bistro opens Tuesday through Sunday from 4 PM to 2 AM and closes on Monday.
