Description

Set across three levels in Manhattan’s Little Ukraine, the museum balances heritage crafts with modern perspective. Its open gallery spaces—split between a main ground-floor hall, an upper floor, and a basement—showcase ceramics, drawings, photography, and short films that connect historical traditions with current events, alongside features on creators like naive painter Maria Prymachenko. Because exhibits rotate throughout the year, displays shift regularly, sometimes moving specific folk pieces into the shop to make room for newer installations.
