🥬 Collect a smaller first meal

The SSam works as the pickup stop, not the seated barbecue stop. Order online for collection at 307 West 38th Street, where the kitchen uses a shared pickup counter. The signature ssams can combine spicy pork and beef bulgogi, with tofu another option. Make online pickup your first step and decide how much to order before a later meal. Monday through Thursday hours extend to 8 PM, while Friday service ends at 3 PM and weekends are closed.

🥩 Save the grill for the main meal

COTE 550 at 550 Madison Avenue changes the format to a seated Korean barbecue meal with smokeless tabletop grills. The menu centers on USDA Prime beef, with an in house dry aging room supporting the cuts. Treat the grill room as the main meal rather than assuming both stops need equal portions. Daily hours run from 5 PM to 11 PM. The space also includes bars on the bottom and first floors, with an upscale price level.

🕔 Use the shared evening window

Use Monday through Thursday for pickup followed by an evening grill meal, since those days share a 5 PM to 8 PM service window. Collect The SSam first and continue from West 38th Street toward Madison Avenue, leaving transfer time between orders. Keep both stops within their opening hours and check the route before committing to a timed meal. Friday offers no evening overlap, and The SSam is closed on weekends. Plan your return from the second address.
