The Snail

The Snail operates largely as a walk-in restaurant, though it accepts a limited number of reservations for groups of 7 to 10, and waits can run close to two hours at peak times. The burger arrives as two seared patties under creamy cheese with thinly mandolined pickles on a toasted brioche bun, from a chef who previously worked for the same restaurant group as 4 Charles Prime Rib. The bar is a draw for solo dining over cocktails and wine. Beyond the standard bistro fare, the kitchen turns out a chips and ham tower and a Caesar salad, closing the meal with a chocolate budino and house-made taffy.
