A Hudson Yards arts center featuring a telescoping outer shell that rolls out to create a massive, flexible hall for new work.
Description

Perched where the High Line meets the Hudson Yards plaza, this nonprofit arts center commissions and presents original work spanning performing arts, visual arts, and popular culture. Its eight-level Bloomberg Building houses two gallery levels alongside the Griffin Theater. The facility features a telescoping outer shell that rolls on rails over the adjoining plaza to form The McCourt, a large flexible hall built for major exhibitions, installations, and performances.
