The Kirkland at the Denver Art Museum
An indoor route through decorative arts, Colorado fine art, and Vance Kirkland's five painting periods.
Build the route around the collection
Marcus Hale's shortcut starts with the collection's three areas: international decorative arts, Colorado fine art, and Vance Kirkland's five painting periods. The galleries bring together 150 years of artistic work, so this indoor stop rewards a clear order rather than a rush. Begin with the decorative arts, move through Colorado work, then save the Kirkland retrospective for last.
