Dating back to 1922 in San Francisco's Theatre District, the venue showcases its original architecture alongside remodels completed over the last seven years. Beyond its lineup of innovative new works and exclusive tours, the theater’s vintage layout requires some navigation. There is no elevator to the upper tiers, but climbing the stairs leads to a quieter third-floor bar, offering an escape from the busier lines on the ground floor.
