🌿 Saturday Beneath the Arbors

On East Houston Street, Liz Christy Community Garden fits grape arbors, birch trees, and herb plots into a narrow lot. Follow the winding gravel path past wooden benches, then pause by the pond, where goldfish swim among the greenery.

Founded in 1973 by the Green Guerillas, the garden is maintained by volunteers. Plan your weekend walk for Saturday from 12 PM to 4 PM. Leave time to linger beneath the arbor before returning to East Houston Street.
