🍂 What the Walk Covers

A docent or educator leads the 45 to 60 minute walk, and the material is the collection itself, steel and stone works standing in open meadow. Talk runs to materials, siting, and the history of the site. Two exhibitions sit in the landscape through November 9, Saif Azzuz's sturgeon built from salvaged car parts and Liz Glynn's Open House, Gilded Age ballroom furniture recast in concrete. Neither one is a fixed stop. Guides read the group and the ground and change the line of the walk.

🧭 Two Starts, One Hill

Walks leave at 11:15 AM and 1:15 PM on open days, both from the paved area in front of the Museum Building at the top of Museum Hill. Free with admission, no registration, walk up and join the group. The route stays on mown grass, stone patio, and paved path with a few small rises between stops. Wet grass is the usual November problem, and boots handle it better than sneakers.

🎟️ Tickets and the Ride Up

Peak fall pricing runs through November 8, and the tickets page lists adult admission at 28 dollars on peak weekends. The booking calendar quotes 25 dollars for November 1. Confirm the rate at checkout. Buying ahead secures an arrival window and a parking space, and parking comes with general admission. Metro-North reaches Beacon, and the gate sits about 30 minutes further by taxi or rideshare. Coach USA sells a round trip from Port Authority with museum admission in the package.
