Book a pair, or use the window

🥢 9AM at the Counter

Six seats in a narrow room, four at the counter and two at tables, with bowls finished in front of you. The dining room takes pairs only and the ticket is prepaid. Reserve on the 1st or the 15th at 9 AM Eastern, when the next block of dates opens on Resy, pre-order your bowl, and keep the seating to 45 minutes. There is no public restroom.

The window is the other way in. One or two people can pre-order on Resy, walk-ups are welcome, and it sells broth cups, breakfast bao and open-faced ramen cups. Menu prices change; the board is the current list.

🥕 Then the Market

Walk ten minutes east to Avenue A and 7th Street, where the Tompkins Square Greenmarket sets up every Sunday from nine to four, year round. Stalls line the park's western edge with bread, mushrooms, cider, orchard fruit and whatever the Northeast farms are cutting that week. The market takes cash, cards and SNAP EBT. Both stops open at nine, which keeps them in one morning. Ten minutes is an estimate for the walk.
