SeaGlass Carousel

Tucked into a 2,575-square-foot chambered-nautilus pavilion, this ride replaces traditional horses with 30 illuminated fiberglass fish. The mechanical core relies on four motorized turntables, while integrated water-effect projections and color-changing LEDs work to mimic the sensation of drifting beneath the surface. The design is a nod to the location’s past as the original home of the New York Aquarium, turning a standard carousel motion into a simulated underwater experience. While the ride is short, the atmosphere shifts significantly after dark when the lighting is at its most vibrant.
