Savoy Theatre

Originally opened in 1881 as the home of Gilbert and Sullivan, this historic West End venue on The Strand features an art deco foyer. Beyond its theatrical roots, the building achieved world fame as the first public building in the world to be lit by incandescent electric lights. Neighbouring the iconic Savoy Hotel, the interior features multiple stairs descending toward the stage alongside small bar and snack areas that support seat-delivery orders.
