Spread across 786 acres on the bay's northwestern shore, the grounds extend well beyond the main shoreline. Visitors can follow self-guided nature trails past trees and an inland pond, or cast a line from dedicated fishing and crabbing piers.
Boaters can use a marina equipped with 22 boat launching ramps, while onshore space includes playgrounds, picnic areas, rental pavilions, and an on-site snack bar. Stretches of open waterfront also provide space for quiet walks and watching the sunset.
