Run Miami's Nov 26 Turkey Trot, Then Order a Cortadito on Calle Ocho
Race the morning 5K from $63 plus fees in Tropical Park, cheer the 9:30 a.m. Kids Trot, and trace the holiday morning route toward Calle Ocho.
🦃 Race Morning in Tropical Park
🏁 Parking, Corrals and the 7 A.M. Gun
Cars stop entering Tropical Park at 6:30 in the morning. Organizers list a 7:00 a.m. 5K and 10K gun, while partner schedules note 7:30, so confirm final times before heading out. Four corrals depart two minutes apart. Corral D (Strollers & Walkers) takes the last wave after a signed stroller acknowledgement, making the final wave the family wave. Current base registration is $63 for the 5K, $73 for the 10K, and $20 for kids, plus fees and subject to increase.
🥫 Cans and Sneakers at Gear Check
Bib pickup runs 12 to 5 on Sunday at DICK'S Kendall, 12 to 7 on Tuesday and Wednesday at DICK'S House of Sport, and 5 to 6:30 on race morning. Bring photo ID and load the Life Time app. Non-perishable food and old sneakers dropped at gear check go to Camillus House and Sneaker Impact, the charitable heart of race morning. A gift to the Life Time Foundation is an optional box at registration.
☕ Kids at 9:30, Then the Window
No cars leave before 8:00, and gates reopen at 8:30 for Kids Trot families. The 2- to 9-year-old dashes start at 9:30 by age group (100 to 600 meters); parents may not run on the track and must retrieve kids at the finish corralling area. Tropical Park to 3555 SW 8th Street is roughly 7 miles, but race traffic and holiday parking can easily stretch travel well past 20 minutes. Versailles holiday hours and cortadito availability remain unconfirmed, so call 305-444-0240.
