4.6 (10,075)market
A South Florida landmark market famous for tropical fruit milkshakes, rare local produce, and a small petting zoo.
Description

Started in 1959 with a boy selling cucumbers, the Homestead market preserves an old Florida roadside character. Inside, counters offer fresh fruit samples and cut-to-order mangoes, flanked by rows of local honey, bottled dressings, and unfamiliar produce. Outside, the grounds feature food trucks and live music, along with trikes for young children and pens where visitors can feed and watch the animals—often serving as a detour on road trips down to the Keys.
