Projection Rooms That Wrap You Floor To Ceiling
Floor-to-ceiling projection halls at a downtown art-and-technology museum turn light and mist into rooms you stand inside.
🌀 Inside the light rooms
The museum spreads across two floors of projection halls, mirrored chambers, and interactive rooms near Dey Street. In one, a domed screen pulls a painting apart overhead while mist drifts across the floor. Another lines every wall and the ceiling with moving particles of light, and the space reads as endless. A third fills with a slow bloom of digital flowers that spill down the walls and pool around the beanbags below. Robotic arms sketch in a side gallery, and mirrored corridors link one installation to the next. Move slowly, and each room resets your sense of scale.
