🎨 Sunflowers and Friday Museum Hours

The Philadelphia Museum of Art puts a whole afternoon behind those columns. Start with van Gogh and the yellow blooms of Sunflowers, then follow European, American, and Asian works through the galleries. The collection spans over 300,000 works, with ancient sculpture and walk through ruins among the reasons to keep wandering.

Give Friday the longer slot. The museum stays open until eight forty five on Friday evenings. Doors open at 10am on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with 5pm closings apart from Friday. Tuesday and Wednesday are closed. Head to 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, take in the neoclassical exterior, and leave time for the art beyond the steps.
