Description
Founder Petra "Petee" Paredez grew up learning the trade at her parents' Virginia pie shop before opening this Lower East Side spot in 2014. The kitchen bakes with organic flour and grass-fed butter, turning out rich crumb crusts and flavors ranging from brown butter honey pecan to cherry crumble with a salty, nutty bite. The cozy shop offers individual slices to go alongside coffee and ice cream, though those staying to eat will find limited bar seating inside. For math lovers, they top pies with Pi symbols every March 15.
