Lower East Side Oyster Bar With a Standout Espresso Martini
Slurping oysters and sipping a standout espresso martini at a dimly lit Lower East Side oyster bar with curated music.
🎶 Oysters, Cocktails, and Curated Music
Black Crescent is a dimly lit Lower East Side oyster bar at 76 Clinton Street, small enough that its high tops and one communal table shape the whole social flow. Oysters lead the seafood plates, with appetizers and classic bar food filling in around them.
The cocktail menu is creative and impressive, and the drink people keep mentioning is the standout espresso martini, a strong closer after a round of oysters. Music is curated with care, which gives even a weeknight drink a deliberate mood in such an intimate room.
Doors open at 3 PM Tuesday through Sunday and stay shut on Monday. Weeknights close at midnight, Sunday wraps at 11 PM, and Friday and Saturday run until 2 AM. The space is relatively small, and an earlier arrival makes it easier to land a high top for a seafood and cocktails night with friends.
