Omakase in Manhattan Behind a Secret Entrance With Eight Seats
Taste a 22-course omakase in Manhattan at an eight-seat counter where a curtain drop opens the evening.
🎭 Dinner Behind the Curtain
Omakase in Manhattan rarely starts with this much theater. At Noda, guests wait in a secret space until a curtain drops, then step into the main room and an eight-seat sushi counter at 37 W 20th St. The entrance becomes the opening act of the evening.
The meal runs through 22 meticulously prepared courses, and the chef's precision reaches into the prep, down to removing individual veins from the fish. Optional sake or wine pairings follow the omakase course by course, and a separate lounge gives the night another room to settle into. Service stays attentive throughout, and pricing sits firmly in the upscale range for a special occasion.
Only two seatings run each service day, which keeps the counter focused on the craft in front of you. Noda opens Tuesday through Saturday from a quarter to 6 PM until 9 PM and is closed Sunday and Monday.
