McClellan's Retreat

Set between Dupont Circle and the U Street corridor, the bar takes its name from General George B. McClellan. The drink program leans into fun themes and inventive seasonal cocktails, backed by bartenders whose creations might arrive in a Yoda tiki mug. While the shelves hold a curated selection of spirits and beers, mixed drinks dominate the room. Food is limited to small bites and provisions, such as a curated charcuterie board.
