Description

A large musical house built in 1927 by the Chanin Brothers and operated by the Shubert Organization. It has been home to legendary productions including Carousel, South Pacific, and The Phantom of the Opera, and now hosts the new musical Beaches with Jessica Vosk. The theater features a raked orchestra for clear sightlines, though some seats have limited legroom. Reviews praise the comfortable seats and beautiful crystal chandeliers, but note that rear balcony overhang can obstruct the stage. Children under four are not admitted.
