Description

Known also as Nishi Betsuin, this Jodo Shinshu temple has history in the neighborhood dating back to 1925, when its original site was built as one of the first religious structures serving the city's Asian community. While that historic building now houses the Go For Broke National Education Center, the temple has operated from its current location since 1969. Visitors frequently note the temple's beauty, though those wanting to see the interior should be aware that tours can be unpredictable to coordinate on the fly.
