Description

This permanent London hub started as a pop-up response to the severe isolation and loneliness the LGBTQ+ community felt after lockdown. Today it pairs a cozy cafe space with a library, where visitors can sit quietly, borrow or donate books, and enjoy hot chocolate or a soft drink. The centre also works with local LGBTQ+ service providers to run a holistic programme of services, events, talks and workshops, many bookable via Eventbrite. Regulars describe it as a safe harbour, with volunteers and staff who make first-timers feel instantly welcome.
