Live Piano Inside a Columbus Circle Subway Dive
Sip cheap drinks at Siberia, where journalists, SNL crew, and chefs mingle underground.
🎹 Broadway Below Street Level
Siberia takes your night out inside the Columbus Circle subway station. Live piano and cheap drinks anchor this gritty Manhattan cellar dive. Broadway veteran pianists and live bands supply the performances, with a popular jukebox adding another strand to the soundtrack.
Tracy Westmoreland has managed the bar from 1996 onward, and the owner brings stories to a room scattered with couches. The crowd mixes off duty cops, journalists, SNL crew, and chefs after work. That is a very New York cast to find beneath the street, gathered around drinks rather than another train departure.
Bring enough cash for the evening, as drinks here are paid for in cash only. Siberia opens daily from half past four PM to 4 AM. At 57th Street and Eighth Avenue, the evening can start before dark and stretch into the early hours, whether the plan is music or a drink after work.
