Little Statue of Liberty
5.0 (4)attraction
Gifted in 1953 by local Boy Scouts, this miniature Lady Liberty keeps watch from a traffic island near Lake Ivanhoe.
Description

Installed at the intersection of North Magnolia and North Orange Avenue, this quirky monument stems from the Boy Scouts' nationwide Strengthening Arm of Liberty program, which distributed around 260 replicas across all 50 states and U.S. territories. Commissioned to broadcast civic ideals of liberty, justice, and freedom, Orlando's miniature is one of only four in Florida, making it an unexpected roadside discovery for passersby.
