The bar takes its name from Diamond Lil, a Prohibition-era speakeasy operator in North Jersey who earned her moniker by accepting jewelry as payment when patrons were strapped for cash. Conceived as a family homage to that history, the venue frames itself around enjoying the finer things in good company, while also hosting private events and dinner parties.
