Lents Park
4.3 (2,258)park
A 38-acre Southeast Portland park pairing historic Walker Stadium with a community garden and native plant nature patch.
Description

Acquired in 1914 and named after pioneer Oliver Perry Lent, the grounds function as an active neighborhood hub. Beyond the main playing fields, the park provides a dog off-leash area, basketball and tennis courts, horseshoe pits, and a universally accessible playground. The nature patch was established in partnership with conservation groups, alongside continuing accessibility and infrastructure updates. While widely appreciated by families and sports leagues, visitor reports occasionally cite crowds and maintenance concerns.
