Description

Desmond and Marjorie Brown left careers in New York in May 1985 to build around their Jamaican roots. By 1986, that effort took shape in the heart of downtown Orlando as D & M West Indian Food and Deli. The little corner shop quickly established itself as a gathering place, offering familiar food and a shared sense of belonging in a changing city.
