Jamaican Comfort Food From 8 AM In Orlando
Eat at Legacy Cafe on your own, with a family story rooted in Desmond and Marjorie Brown.
🍴 A Family Story
Make Legacy Cafe Orlando your daytime stop for Jamaican staples and Caribbean comfort food at 710 S Tampa Ave. Take a breakfast or lunch break on your own, with a family story that reaches beyond the meal.
Desmond and Marjorie Brown left their careers in New York in May 1985 to build around their Jamaican roots. By 1986, that effort had taken shape as a West Indian food shop and deli in the heart of downtown Orlando. The little corner shop became a gathering place, offering familiar food and a shared sense of belonging in a changing city.
For your next morning or afternoon stop, the cafe is open from 8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday, and from 8 AM to 3 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Keep this family run fixture on your breakfast and lunch list.
