Langston Hughes Playground

Sited right next to the housing projects, the park is cleanly divided into three dedicated zones that separate toddlers, younger kids, and older children. The play equipment brings the theme to life with structures that look as though they were cut directly from trees, flanked by swings and fast slides. A simple picnic area provides a spot to sit back, while the overall layout makes it easy to keep track of kids as the space fills with neighborhood regulars.
