Koreatown's Boba Shop Turns Three Fall Bakes Into a Halloween Vote
A baker brings three fall desserts to a Fifth Avenue boba shop for a Halloween bake sale, and customers decide which one wins.
🎃 Three Bakes, One Vote
🧋 The Boba Cheesecake
@al.chenny made the milk tea boba basque cheesecake for the bake sale: a caramelized, burnt-style top over creamy milk tea custard, topped with Xing Fu Tang boba. The shop calls it one of three fall desserts on the counter, and has also named the carrot cake, finished with black spider decorations.
🗳️ How the Vote Runs
The shop leaves the call to the room: you get to decide which one wins. The posts name no voting method or eligibility, so ask at the counter before you count on a ballot. Every purchase is a raffle entry for a secret surprise, and more activations are promised that afternoon.
🕷️ Preorder and Plan
Preorders close Wednesday, October 28: the shop posted the deadline on Monday and keeps the link in its pinned Instagram post. A walk-in plan is not posted, so preordering is the route it has spelled out. The counter sits at 325 5th Ave, in the middle of Koreatown, and stays open until 10:30 PM on Saturday.
