Korean Sashimi Comes With a Parade of Sides in Flushing
Taste tuna cuts at Dong Won Sushi & Tuna before the meal turns to cooked dishes, including eel.
🐟 Beyond the Raw Courses
Dong Won Sushi and Tuna brings a procession of raw courses to Flushing. Korean style sashimi sets the direction, with different tuna cuts at the center of the meal. Give the fish a moment after it reaches your table, letting it soften and release its fatty flavors before you take a bite.
Seating runs from the open main dining area to private dining rooms, giving your group two ways to settle in. The traditional accompaniments include shikidashi, the side dishes that arrive ahead of the main event. After the raw preparations, the kitchen continues with shik sa, a separate round of cooked dishes. Eel is part of that later course, extending the meal beyond the fish at its center.
The restaurant sits on 162nd Street in Queens. It opens daily from half past eleven AM to half past eleven PM.
