'Justice For Vicha' Mural

Set in San Francisco's Anza Vista neighborhood, the project honors "Grandpa Vicha" Ratanapakdee, whose death during a morning walk became a watershed moment for the AAPI community. The mosaic stairway traces his path across three thematic segments, beginning with his origins in Songkhla, Thailand. The narrative continues through his struggles and joys in the United States intertwined with Buddhist principles, concluding with lotus flowers and Lady Justice's scales. Today, the site serves as a focal point for dialogue, reflection, and community resilience against discrimination.
