Acai, Cake, and Tea Stops
Third Avenue Primer
Juice Bar Plus sits at 700 3rd Ave as a compact counter for orders to go. Blended acai bowls, fruit platters, salads, and hot lentil soup broaden the menu beyond smoothies. The specialty ginger-heavy cold killer teas add a warming option. Staff help car-bound customers avoid parking tickets. There is no seating inside. Hours are 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday, and 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM Sunday.

East Village Pause
At 72 E 1st St near First Park, Juicy Lucy's is a regular stop for commuters waiting on the M15 bus. Fresh-pressed juices, coffee, smoothies, and acai bowls fill the menu. Cookies and pumpkin walnut cake are among the baked goods, and Jr's Skin Fixer is a specialty juice. A rainbow bench outside gives visitors a place to wait for orders. Hours are 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM weekdays and 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM weekends.

Fifth Avenue Steeping
Koacha occupies 1316 5th Ave Store #2 in Harlem, near Central Park. Bubble tea joins fruit lemonades and milk teas on the menu. The fruit drinks and milk teas have a balanced, not-overly-sweet flavor profile. Jasmine green tea is brewed to be especially full of flavor. The shop welcomes visitors daily from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM. Tapioca is made fresh every three to five hours.
