Japanese Daytime Plates Turn Into Seafood Ramen at Night

Book ahead for one of twelve counter seats, where Japanese mottainai cooking sets a quiet Williamsburg pace.

Try the day and evening menu.

🍱 Day Set Menus

Japanese mottainai cooking is the through line here, and the twelve seat counter keeps the room close and quiet. In the daytime, the kitchen offers only two set menu options, with the larger set bringing grilled salmon, hamachi, and a custard like egg cooked with milk. Ask about the ikura over rice upgrade when that fuller plate is calling.

By evening, the format shifts to an a la carte lineup. Order mazemen or settle into the seafood focused ramen side of the menu, a different register from the daytime sets. At 150 Ainslie Street in Williamsburg, plan to book ahead for a seat at the counter, where the pace stays relaxed once the bowls arrive.

Service runs Monday through Sunday from 9 AM to half past two PM, then from half past five PM to half past nine PM. Breakfast and lunch belong to the set menus, and the evening window belongs to the noodles.
