Italian Flatbreads Imported Weekly From Pesaro Reach the West Village
Pair Aperol spritzes with sharing plates at a Greenwich Avenue spot with a Riviera mood.
🍊 Flatbread Meets Aperitivo
Casa Piada brings a little of the Italian Riviera to 55 Greenwich Avenue in the West Village. Its piadina arrives weekly from Pesaro in the Le Marche region of Italy, then gets stuffed with classic ingredients. Flaky flatbread is the starting point here.
Espresso, pastries and wine sit alongside the flatbreads, giving the menu room for a coffee break as well as drinks before dinner. Latin music sets a high energy soundtrack in the narrow space, where seating is limited and the mood stays casual for after work drinks. Sharing plates are part of the appeal, keeping the focus on something to eat alongside your drink.
Happy hour runs from 4 PM to 7 PM with five dollar spritzes and free snacks. Doors open daily at 11 AM, with closing at 8 PM Sunday through Wednesday and 10 PM Thursday through Saturday.
