Indian Kitchens From Tandoor to Chaat in Manhattan
Four Indian kitchens across Manhattan, from a tandoor dining room on Hudson Street and a mirrored palace on Duane Street to playful chaat on Leonard Street and a 40-year lunch counter on Chambers Street.

Tandoor chefs work behind glass at this Indian dining room at 99 Hudson Street, which traces its lineage to an earlier Michelin-starred Flatiron location. Regional Indian dishes arrive under high ceilings with an expansive bar and a mezzanine. Prices sit at the premium end, and indoor dining is for guests 10 and older. Lunch runs 11:30 AM to 3 PM daily, dinner 5:30 PM to 11:30 PM, or midnight on Friday and Saturday.
