Historic Air Restoration at Floyd Bennett Field
Volunteers restore and rebuild historic aircraft inside Hangar B on the east side of Floyd Bennett Field. Visitors wander independently among the planes. Pick one to examine up close, then look at photographs of aviation figures including Amelia Earhart. Volunteers frequently share stories about their restoration work. The hangar opens Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Admission is free. Donations support the project's upkeep.

Salt Marsh Nature Center in Marine Park
Salt Marsh Nature Center opens Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The center closes at noon and reopens from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Inside, park rangers guide visitors through displays of local plants and animals. Study a species before looking for wildlife along the marsh trails. Choose the short loop near the building or longer paths across the park's east and west sides.

Nick's Lobster House on Flatbush Avenue

Local vendors supply the restaurant's onsite fish market. Browse the day's catch to take home for another meal. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Friday and Saturday service runs from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
