Description

Set on a Fremont hillside facing the Olympic Mountains, the space pairs functional cultivation with collective neighborhood stewardship. Beside an 8,000-gallon rainwater cistern and tool shed, plots yield grapevines, herb beds, and a berry patch. Much of the harvest feeds outward: an active Giving Garden gathers regular donations for the local food bank from shared ground and individual neighbor plots. Seasonal life centers on collective care, marked by potluck feasts and work parties in spring and autumn alongside an annual August street gathering.
