Rising 18 feet at North 36th Street and Troll Avenue North, the 13,000-pound figure is shaped from rebar, wire, and concrete. The car pinned in its hand still sports an authentic California license plate, held as if swiped directly from the roadway above. Set right in an open public space, climbing around the sculpture is half the fun for visitors stopping to take photos.
