Halloween Horror Nights Is Back!
A working Hollywood studio doubles as a theme park, pairing film-set tram rides with immersive movie worlds.
🎃 After Dark Frights
Each fall Universal Studios Hollywood turns its backlot over to Halloween Horror Nights, running select nights from September 3 through November 1, 2026, with the after dark run starting at 7 p.m. There is no fixed parade. Roaming scare actors take over themed streets, and the frights find you as you move. The 2026 scare zones span a Fortnite nightmare called FORTNITEMARES, the sinister El Circo de la Muerte, chainsaw chaos in Hackerz, the swamp creatures of Blood Bog, the banshee of Shriek of the Banshee, and the crow siege of Murder of Crowz. Headline mazes include Stranger Things 5, Sinners, and Hellraiser, and the Terror Tram Starring Art the Clown twists the Studio Tour backlot into a blood soaked holiday. A fiery stunt show, The Purge Dangerous Waters, runs more than once most nights. Terror Tram can close before the rest of the park. Ride it before the final hour.
