🍰 A Greek Dessert Detour

Omonia Cafe Next Door gives a Broadway dessert stop a Greek starting point, with traditional pastries and baklava cheesecake on the menu. The bakery dates to 1977, giving this Queens stop a history stretching across several decades of Greek sweets. Make that signature combination your first consideration when you want a Greek specialty alongside a familiar style of cake, rather than treating dessert as an afterthought.

The counter also carries pecan pie, eclairs, macaroons, cookies, and ice cream. Other cheesecake styles include apple crumb and Oreo, opening up a few different choices for the cake crowd. Savory dishes are available too, giving anyone taking a break from sweets another direction. For celebrations and other special events, custom cakes can be ordered here.

Opening is 11 AM Monday through Thursday and 10 AM Friday through Sunday, with the bakery closing at 10 PM daily.
