🍸 Share Plates and Speakeasy
Saint folds a backyard garden and a subterranean speakeasy into an East Village restaurant at 136 2nd Avenue. Global share plates give the kitchen its starting point, with sea bass and duck among the dishes. Inside, the brick walled dining room offers one setting for the evening, while the intimate downstairs lounge keeps music low enough for conversation.
Ravi Thapa shapes the cocktail program around twists on classics, including a spicy margarita. That combination of a full kitchen and a separate lounge makes room for a dinner date with drinks, without leaving the same venue. The garden adds an outdoor option to the restaurant and its spaces below street level.
Dinner runs Wednesday through Saturday from 5 PM to 11 PM, Saturday brunch runs noon to 4 PM, and the bar stays open until 2 AM on Friday and Saturday. Speakeasy hours are subject to weekly changes.
