See work by artists of color in a cultural space pairing public displays with residencies.

Plan an upstairs art stop.

🎨 Exhibitions Meet Residencies

Seattle has an art stop that takes you upstairs in a historic train station. ARTS at King Street Station occupies the top floor at 303 S Jackson Street, giving the rail landmark another reason to be on your afternoon list. The gallery centers artists of color, with programming dedicated to increasing their opportunities to generate and present work.

The 7,500 square foot cultural space pairs public display areas with working residency studios. It also houses offices for the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture, bringing a municipal arts program into the station itself. Support extends to the exhibiting artists, with staff checking in throughout the process to help handle and execute each show.

Leave room for a daytime stop. The weekly schedule runs Wednesday through Saturday, with the gallery open from 11 AM to 5 PM and closed Sunday through Tuesday.
